Island Style Volleyball

I've played all over the place, every where I get stationed I play on the base team. Played there in Washington, Denver, Japan, and here in Hawaii. I took 3rd in the NORPAC tournament when I was stationed up there from 98-02. Don't know if you know what that is, but it's a tournament for all military people, NORPAC runs from Washington state, all the way down to Oregon...so any base, any ship or any squadron could put in a team to play. It was a lot of fun, but I always liked playing against non military guys better....competition seems to be just a little bit higher. I don't get there until the 27th, so if you could keep your ear out for any more of those group tryout things that would be great. I appreciate the help. Good luck with your season, would still like to come out and watch you guys play sometime.

Dude I know how you feel! Looking for clubs sucks and in this area its tough!!! Im not sure where you are located but my best advice for you is just try to come out to some tourneys this year and get to know some other indoor players... As far as our team goes we are set this year and the current team will take us to nationals and maybe into next year. Almost the best thing to do is try to start your own team. I know some other guys that are looking for teams too and if you are interested I can get some contact info for you... my personal email is tucker2682@yahoo.com let me know and ill help you out... also there is a scrimmage tomorrow at TCC of some area teams and you can come check it out and talk to some other clubs as well!!!! What is your background in volleyball?
